Practical & Skill Applications Review
7:30am-3:30pm
A 6-hour hands-on workshop format led by AEA Aquatic Training Specialists and
designed to reinforce the online AEA Certification Prep Course. This review
does not cover all AFP Manual Chapters or topic areas, rather it targets
practical applications and instructor skills that are sometimes difficult to
master through reading or distance learning. Theory, classroom movement
and pool participant help you to apply your knowledge to enhance your teaching!
Requires advanced pre-event study – follow Course Outline provided with
registration.

*AEA CECs issued ONLY to individuals who are currently AEA Aquatic Fitness
Professional Certified and are not issued to those sitting for the
certification examination. CECs: AEA 7.0*, ACE 0.7, AFAA 6.5, BOC 6.0
Aquatic
Fitness Professional Certification Exam
4:00-6:15pm
This 100-question, multiple-choice and true/false written exam is designed to
test a standard level on theoretical and practical competence and skill for
aquatic fitness professionals.
AEA
highly recommends that ALL Candidates have a minimum of 6 months practical
experience in aquatic exercise and allow at least 8-12 weeks of advanced study
utilizing the AFP Manual and Study Objectives.
