Explore ways to maximize pool use by incorporating a variety of deep-water training techniques. Review the physiological responses, evaluate the importance of proper body alignment and discuss equipment options suited for suspended vertical training in deep water. Sample movements, safe and effective transitions, and class formats (Including “transitional” programming – water exercise performed in water depths between 4 and 6 feet) are also discussed.
